A multitude of uses

The components of the Beorma Quarter offer exciting and varied uses that will come together and deliver a much needed coherent, modern development for the local area and the wider city.

The main tower comprises office space with a ground floor that will host back of house, servicing and retail space. The refurbished ‘listed’ Cold Storage Building will offer an inviting space where new businesses and individuals can come together to exchange ideas and develop opportunities. The upper floors will be used for office space over a ground floor that includes a mix of shops, restaurants and cafes or business space. No more than 50% of the total ground floor area will be in any one use.

Other buildings facing Digbeth will be refurbished and the existing facades of 138-139 retained.

The usages of the building will remain as offices and shops. The building on the corner of Digbeth and Park Street will host 5 levels of business space over an entrance lobby and shops on the ground floor.

Situated on Well Lane, and with a frontage onto Allison Street, will be a building that is made up of 3 elements. The first part will be 10 floors of attractive, modern office space facing onto Allison Street and located above and alongside retail space on the ground floor.

Facing onto Well Lane, the next section will offer 15 units of affordable housing. Rising to a height of 5 storeys, this will combine with further retail units and a restaurant space facing Orwell Place. The building is completed along Well Lane by 13 storeys of modern, high quality office space.
